KATHMANDU, June 8: Nepal will play against Scotland today under the ICC World Cup League 2. The match will start at 3:45 pm Nepal time at Forthill Cricket Ground, Dundee.


In the ongoing triangular series between Nepal, the Netherlands, and host Scotland, Nepal is set to play its third match today. 


Nepal had secured an exciting 1-wicket victory in the first match against Scotland. Nepal remains unbeaten in the series. After defeating Scotland, Nepal also won the match against the Netherlands by 5 wickets.

Nepal will play the final match of the series against the Netherlands again on the upcoming Thursday.


In the League 2 points table, Nepal is currently in seventh place with 10 points. Nepal has played 14 matches so far. The UAE, having played 16 matches, is at the bottom with 6 points.


The USA is at the top with 28 points from 20 matches. The Netherlands is in second place, having earned 26 points from 22 matches. Similarly, Oman is in the third place with 24 points from 20 matches, Scotland is fourth with 22 points from 18 matches, and Canada is fifth with 20 points from 20 matches.


Namibia, one position above Nepal, has accumulated 14 points from 20 matches.
