KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal faced a defeat in the second semi-final match of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup against Malaysia by four wickets, shattering their dream of playing in the Asia Cup.


Nepal batted first, posting a total of 115 runs in their innings.

However, Malaysia chased the target and secured victory with four wickets in hand.


With Malaysia’s victory, the team has earned the coveted opportunity to compete in the Asia Cup.


In the preceding semi-final, the UAE edged past Thailand by four runs, securing their spot in the Asia Cup. Now, the UAE and Malaysia are set to battle it out in the final showdown.
