KATHMANDU, May 19: Nepal's COVID-19 tally has climbed to 402 with 27 new cases in various districts today, the Ministry of Health and Population said.
At a regular press briefing, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Bikash Devkota said that of the new cases, 24 are males and three are females.

Five COVID-19 cases were identified in the Kathmandu Valley today, according to him. "Three cases in Kathmandu district and one each in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur were detected today," he said.
Likewise, Jhapa has witnessed nine new COVID-19 cases. Morang, Nawalparasi, Sunsari, Lamjung, Ramechhap, Sindhuli and Makawanpur reported one COVID-19 case each today. Similarly, Kapilvastu has reported four cases and Sarlahi witnessed two COVID-19 cases.
