KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The Praja Parishad Party has merged with CPN (UML) on Thursday to strengthen democracy and materialize the dreams of martyrs and contribute towards holistic development of Nepal. A two point agreement was reached for the merger. Praja Parishad’s acting chair Govinda Prasad Dulal shared the party decided to join UML due to its nationalistic stance. The Praja Parishad was founded in 1993 BS to lead revolution against Rana regime in Nepal and consisted of many revolutionaries, including Ram Hari Sharma Nepal, Dharma Bhakta Mathema, Dashrat Chand, Tanka Prasad Acharya, Gangalal Shrestha among others.
