KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepali Police has invited applications from all qualified Nepali nationals for over 5,000 vacant positions.
The Human Resource and Administration Department of Nepal Police on Friday called for applications from all aspiring candidates for the 5,227 vacant positions of police constable.
Of the total seats, 2,187 seats are available for open competition, while 767 seats are reserved for indigenous ethnic groups. Similarly, 461 seats are allocated for women candidates and 646 other vacant seats are meant for candidates from the Madhesi community.
Nepal police invites applications for 75,000 temporary police
A total of 345 seats have been reserved for the candidates hailing from the Dalit community and another 116 positions for those hailing from geographically backward regions.
According to the Recruitment Unit of Nepal Police, all aspiring candidates between 18 to 23 years of age should have minimum academic qualification of Grade 8 to apply for the vacant posts of police constables. The application opens on November 1 and closes on December 8
All prospective candidates can apply for the vacant positions from 10 different application centers across the country.
