Nepal Police distributes masks to 6686 people under ‘Where is your mask?’ campaign

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Free masks have been distributed to 6,686 people under the campaign ‘Where is your mask?’ run by Nepal Police for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection on Thursday. Under this campaign, since April 20, a total of 1,078,309 people have been given free masks.

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Free masks have been distributed to 6,686 people under the campaign ‘Where is your mask?’ run by Nepal Police for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection on Thursday. Under this campaign, since April 20, a total of 1,078,309 people have been given free masks.

Additionally, a fine of Rs 4,100 has been collected from 41 people for violating the ban issued by the local administration for the prevention and control of COVID-19. Also, 869 people violating the health standards were detained and released. As many as 8,820 people were alerted under 93 different awareness programs including placards and pamphlets across the country.
