KATHMANDU, March 29: Culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi has pointed out historic relations of art and culture between Nepal and Japan, who he said share similar culture and religion to some extent.
Inaugurating the cultural performance exchange programme of Nepali and Japanese artists organised by the Nepal Culture Exchange Association here today, he stressed the need for further strengthening ties between the two countries.
Likewise, General Manager for the Association, Rajesh Thapa also echoed Joshi pointing out the need for further strengthening relations between the two countries.
On the occasion, Japanese singer Sundari Mika sang Nepali and Japanese songs. Other performances including Japanese Owara dance, Newari dance, Tamang Selo were also exchanged.(RSS)
