KATHMANDU, Nov 12: The Secretariat of Nepal Hajj Committee has extended the deadline for applying for Hajj 2024 (Hajj 1445).
Maqbul Miya, Acting President of Nepal Haj Committee, said that the application deadline for Nepali Muslims who are interested in going on Hajj was till November 8, but it has been extended to November 26.

President Miya explained that the decision to extend the application period was made by the Nepal Hajj Committee, taking into account the exemption of certain people from the initial application process.
Those interested in applying for Haj pilgrimage can obtain the application form from the official website of the Secretariat of the Nepal Haj Committee. For additional information, applicants may contact the Secretariat at Singha Durbar.
This year, the Saudi Arabian government has set a quota for Nepalis so that 1,200 followers of Islam can perform Hajj. The process for Hajj started from the Nepali month of Shrawan.
