A nation with T20I status has to play at least eight matches to be in the ICC rankings.
Nepal has been listed in the 15th position at the bottom of the list just below 14th ranked Zimbabwe.
Nepal completed the quota after playing four-match T20I series against the Netherlands last week. Nepal lost the series 3-1.Nepal had played three T20I matches during its maiden ICC World Twenty20 held in Bangladesh last year and one against Hong Kong in Sri Lanka last year.
With Nepal's impressive performances in Bangladesh, the ICC awarded Nepal T20I status on 28th June which came into effect from October 1. Nepal had defeated Afghanistan and Hong Kong but was beaten by host Bangladesh.
After getting T20I status, Nepal took almost nine months to complete eight matches.
The ICC's 10 full members-Sri Lanka (1st), India (2nd), Australia (3rd), West Indies, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, as well as associates members-Scotland, Afghanistan, the Netherlands and Ireland are also in the list.
