Nepal condemns terrorist attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Nepal has condemned Friday morning's terrorist attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan. Issuing a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said government condemned the attack, while hoping that the culprits responsible will be brought to justice.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Nepal has condemned Friday morning's terrorist attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan. Issuing a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said government condemned the attack while hoping that the culprits responsible will be brought to justice. 


“In line with its principled position, the Government of Nepal unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It is confident that the perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon,” said the MoFA statement. At least two police personnel and three suspected bombers were killed as three heavily armed suicide bombers tried to storm into the Consulate office. The two police were killed as they tried to foil the attack.
