KATHMANDU, March 22: Nepal has risen to the 15th position in ODI cricket in International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings.
In the new rankings released by the ICC today, Nepal has improved by one place and climbed to the 15th position. Nepal has moved up one place behind Oman. Nepal has got 1238 points from 40 matches. Nepal got 31 points in the rating. Oman got 919 points from 30 matches and got 31 points as much as Nepal in the rating.

In the ICC World Cup League 2 triangular ODI series in a month, Nepal has climbed from 19th to 17th, 16th to 15th after winning 11 of its last 12 matches.
After Nepal, Oman ranks 16th, Namibia 17th, America 18th, the UAE 19th and Papua New Guinea 20th. Before Nepal, the Netherlands is 14th, Zimbabwe 13th and Scotland 12th.
India is first, Australia second, New Zealand third and England fourth. Similarly, Pakistan is fifth, South Africa sixth, Bangladesh seventh, Sri Lanka eighth, West Indies ninth, Afghanistan tenth and Ireland 11th.
