“I have requested with top Israeli officials to resume long stalled visa process for Nepalis to work in Israel and briefed them about the impact on Nepali job aspirants following the Israeli decision,” said Ganesh Gurung, member of the National Planning Commission, who recently visited Israel on the occasion of 50th anniversary of Nepal-Israel diplomatic relations.
Gurung said he made the request with director of South Asia Department at Israeli Foreign Ministry, and chairman of Israel-Nepal Parliamentary Committee. “They took my request seriously and assured me of taking the issue to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to resolve the problem,” said Gurung.
