NEFEJ in its statement issued on Tuesday hoped the order from the apex court would stop the further encroachment of the shores of Fewa Lake.

“The government should immediately execute the Supreme Court order as it does not have any option other than implementing the court verdict,” read the statement.

Stating that all three federal, provincial and local governments are equally responsible to stop the encroachment and to protect Fewa Lake, NEFEJ has urged the government to retain the beauty of the lake by implementing the verdict.
