KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Six of the security personnel for the security of ruling Nepal Communist Party Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have been infected with novel coronavirus.

According to Bishnu Sapkota, press advisor to Dahal, they tested positive for COVID-19 during PCR tests conducted at the Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, on Wednesday.
Dahal’s family members, secretariat members and security personnel deployed at his residence in Khumaltar had undergone COVID-19 tests on Wednesday. However, no other person living at the Dahal’s residence has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
