RASUWA, Nov 22: Nepali Congress candidate Prabhat Tamang has won a seat in the Provincial Assembly (PA) from Rasuwa electoral constituency-1.
Tamang secured 8,186 votes to defeat his closest competitor Kul Prasad Bhatta of CPN (UML) who bagged 4,772 votes, Election Officer Ram Chandra Poudel said. There were eight candidates including a woman contesting in the election constituency.

The woman was contesting as an independent candidate. A total of 13,655 votes were cast in the election in this constituency out of which 368 votes were invalid.
