The cadres of the front were trying to disturb the local assembly of the NC being held in Kesho Anirudhawati Secondary School ground in Rajbiraj-4 in the district.
The clash ensued as the NC cadres retaliated against the Front cadres, according to the District Police Office, Saptari.
Injured in the incident is Tarakeshwar Yadav, Saptari district Coordinator of the Youth students Front, who is receiving treatment at a local hospital, said police.
Rajbiraj has been tensed following the incident. Security personnel have been mobilized in big numbers in the locality to avert the untoward situation, added Police. RSS
