KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Nepali Congress leader Ramhari Khatiwada has said the party would finalize the names of people to represent the party in the government as ministers by coming Sunday (August 21).

Speaking at the face-to-face program organized by Reporters' Club Nepal here today, the NC lawmaker Khatiwada said although there was delay in giving the list of names for appointment as ministers due to the general convention of the Nepal Students Union, the issue would be finalized by Sunday.

He stated that the politics of power-sharing among the different factions within the party has ended with the conclusion of the party's 13th general convention.

Khatiwada suggested that the UML should not become an obstruction to nation building. He added that the remaining points mentioned in the three-point agreement reached among the Nepali Congress, the Maoist Centre and the Madhesi Morcha at the time of the formation of the present government would be implemented soon.

Meanwhile, the Club also held a face to face with comedy artists today on the occasion of the Gai Jatra festival. RSS
