NC’s decision has given enthusiasm to coalition: Minister Ale

BIRATNAGAR, April 1: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Prem Bahadur Ale has said that the decision made by Nepali Congress (NC) has given enthusiasm to the coalition for the upcoming elections.

BIRATNAGAR, April 1: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Prem Bahadur Ale has said that the decision made by Nepali Congress (NC) has given enthusiasm to the coalition for the upcoming elections. 


Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport on Friday, Minister Ale said that the alliance will be preserved until the upcoming local level elections to be held on May 13.  A few days ago the central committee of NC has decided to form an electoral coordination with the coalition on the need basis.

On the occasion, Minister Ale said that the non-coalition parties would cease to exist after the election. Referring to the CPN-UML, he claimed that the situation of the party leaders who talk big will be the same.


Furthermore, Ale said that the Budget for land acquisition and upgradation of Biratnagar Airport into a regional/international airport is being managed. He said that cost has been estimated to be Rs 16 billion and that the airport will conduct flights to Lukla from Biratnagar very soon. 


Even though Biratnagar is the capital of the province, locals have been complaining that there is no direct flight to and from Solukhumbu. Minister Ale arrived in Biratnagar to inaugurate the Trade Expo 2022 organized by the Morang Trade Association.
