KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Nepali Congress president and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed hearty best wishes to all the Nepali sisters and brothers on the occasion of the Nepal Sambat New Year 1139 today.
The leader of main opposition party in parliament, Deuba, in a message of best wishes on the occasion, noted that Nepal could be made peaceful, prosperous and developed only if mutual unity and goodwill could be promoted ahead.

He wished that may the Nepal Sambat New Year's day inspire for transforming our country into a peaceful, prosperous and developed nation.
Similarly, in a separate message of best wishes given on the occasion of Bhaitika, the NC president wished that may this festival of lights that banishes darkness inspire one and all to achieve victory over all kinds of darkness that remains as misfortune of Nepal.
He has extended best wishes to all the Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Bhaitika.
