NC President Deuba extends best wishes on Christmas Day

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended best wishes to all the Nepali Christian sisters and brothers within the country and abroad on the occasion of Christmas Day today.

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended best wishes to all the Nepali Christian sisters and brothers within the country and abroad on the occasion of Christmas Day today.


The NC President, on behalf the party and his own, extended best wishes for happiness, peace and prosperity to all the Christian community on the occasion, the NC stated in a press release.


"Nepal is a country having multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural diversities. We have our own tradition of goodwill and respect towards the various festivals and the religious and cultural traditions that are observed amidst these diversities.

These festivals have further enhanced the collective spirit and helped build the basis of unity and friendship among all," the NC President said in his message of best wishes.


Similarly, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has extended best wishes on the occasion of Christmas. In a message of best wishes he issued on the occasion of the Christmas festival today, he expressed the belief that Christmas will help strengthen mutual goodwill, tolerance and unity in Nepali society.


He has also wished for happiness, peace, prosperity, good health, mutual goodwill, fraternity, unity and continued progress to all the Nepali Christians within the country and abroad on the occasion of Christmas.
