NC leader Lama donates five ambulances to local governments

CHARIKOT, Dec 10: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and member of House of Representatives, Jeep Tshering Lama has handed over five ambulances to local governments of Dolakha.

CHARIKOT, Dec 10: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and member of House of Representatives, Jeep Tshering Lama has handed over five ambulances to local governments of Dolakha. 


Lama handed over the ownership of ambulances to Tamakoshi rural municipality-3, Jafe, Kalinchowk rural municipality-9, Jiri municipality-1, Melung rural municipality-6 and Bigu rural municipality. 


Lawmaker Lama said that he had handed the ambulances to the local governments in rural areas so that no patients will die for want of immediate health services.

“I came to know that many patients are dying for no availability of ambulance service in rural areas of the district. So, I provide this support for the convenience of the patients”, he added. 


Last year too, Lama had donated an ambulance for Khare folks in Dolakha. 


On the occasion, he urged the local governments to provide ambulance service irrespective of political party and faith. 


Social worker Lama donated the ambulances from the name of Tengma Dadoma Lama Memorial Foundation which he established in memory of his parents.
