KATHMANDU, June 17: General Secretary of Nepali Congress Shasanka Koirala has expressed displeasure for not allocating enough budgets at the local levels.
Speaking at a function in Kathmandu, the Congress leader said: "It is disappointing that the budget allocated for the local level seems even less than 30% of the total fiscal year budget unveiled by the Federal Government."
Infrastructure prioritized in local budgets

He said that the government is failing to live up to the people's expectations even though it holds a two-thirds majority in the Parliament.
Koirala said that his party is moving ahead in line with the spirit of its visionary leader late BP Koirala.
