KATHMANDU, May 29: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today offered a message of best wishes to all Nepalis living home and abroad on Republic Day. He deliberated the message of greetings paid tribute to all martyrs who sacrificed their lives to reestablish democracy.
Republic Day to be celebrated for three days
"The federal democratic republic was established on the initiatives of the late NC President Girija Prasad Koirala, with sacrifice and contribution of Nepali people following the successful 2062-63 people's movements," read the message of good wishes.
On the occasion, the NC wished all Nepalis get inspirations to create an equitable society following democratic custom, culture and norms and values while protecting the new constitution, institutionalizing the federal democratic republic and driving the country on the path to economic prosperity.
