NC can't neglect Madhesh: Koirala

SARLAHI June 19: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has said that his party cannot afford to neglect Madhes as the region has always remained a “fertile ground” for the party. [break]



Speaking at a function organized by the party in Mahottari, Koirala said, “Former king Gyanendra´s visit to Madhes is merely a publicity stunt. His visit does not carry any political significance.” He also stressed the need for an NC-led government after the polls to safeguard national sovereignty.
