ILAM, August 3: The district administration is starting the distribution of the National ID cards from the office today. In the first phase, cards will be distributed to 500 people.
CDO Shravan Kumar Pokharel said that the names of the person who will receive the identity cards in the first phase have been announced by the office. "The concerned person must come to get the identity card," he said. He said that an SMS was also sent to the mobile phones of the people the identity cards belong to.
National ID card distribution to begin from mid-March
The administration said that the identity cards of 17,079 people have been received by the office. "This card will be distributed from Ilam for the first time on 3rd August, Thursday, after arranging training and other arrangements for the employees," CDO Pokharel said.
