KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepal's National Cricket Team won first friendly match against the local amateur Free Foresters Cricket Club in London, UK by 129 runs on Wednesday.
Losing the toss, the Nepali team batted first and put a formidable 235-run target for the foresters club in the stipulated 40 overs at the loss of nine wickets.
In response, the foresters club managed to secure only 106 runs all out in 29.1 overs.

For Nepali team, Vice-Captain Gyanendra Malla secured the highest 74 runs while Sharad Bheshwakar 50.
Likewise, Captain Paras Khadka made 40 runs followed by Sagar Pun 21.
Similarly, Rajesh Pulami secured 11 runs. And Raju Rijal and Sompal Kami contributed eight runs each not out. Likewise, Binod Bhandari made seven runs.
Invited by the oldest Marylebone Cricket Club, England, the Nepali team is scheduled to play a practice match against local Gymkhana Cricket Club today. RSS
