KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Lawmakers at the National Assembly, the Upper House of Federal Parliament, have thanked the government stating that the Prime Minister's commitment not to indulge in corruption and not to tolerate corruption was translated into action after latest move of the CIAA.
Lawmakers Yutol Tamang and Balaram Banskota have stated that the positive vibe was disseminated after latest move of registering the corruption case against high profile people including former DPM by CIAA in Lalita Residence land purchase scam. They further asked for impartial investigation into the case.
New Govt’s Commitment to Curb Corruption
On the other hand, lawmaker Deepa Gurung said that the victim of the explosion that took place at Ncell in Lalitpur is yet to receive compensation.
Lawmaker Prakash Pantha drew the attention of the government to bring the dead body of Nepali national who was killed in battle in Indian army.
NA member Mukta KumarI Yadav asked the government to manage relief to the victims of floods in Tarai.
