KANCHANPUR, Sept 18: A 26-year-old person died when a bus today hit a motorcycle near Gulariya Bazar at Krishnapur municipality-5 along the East-West Highway in Kanchanpur.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Rana, of Dhangadhi sub metropolis-10. He died on the spot.

Pillion rider 15-year-old Ranjeshwori Rana was severely injured in the accident. She was referred to India for further treatment, Area Police Office Jhalari's Police Inspector Nain Bahadur Saud said.
Driver of the bus (Na 5 Kha 2073) Rupalal Khadka, 36, of Shanti municipality-3, Dang has been taken under the police control for further investigations into the case.
The over-speeding bus hit the motorcycle as it was trying to cross the road.
