Health ministry corrects COVID-19 data, says only 245 confirmed cases so far

KATHMANDU, May 14: Correcting its earlier data of 250 COVID-19 cases in the country, the Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday confirmed 245 total positive cases in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, May 14: Correcting its earlier data of 250 COVID-19 cases in the country, the Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday confirmed 245 total positive cases in Nepal.

Issuing a press statement, joint spokesperson for the ministry, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said that the five cases, which were added to the tally in its latest release at 7:45 am earlier today, were repeated due to some technical issues. 


Earlier in the morning, the ministry released two different statements and confirmed seven additional cases.
