Mission politics for country’s development: Poudel

KATHMANDU, July 24: Senior leader of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), Ram Chandra Poudel has said that he practiced ‘mission politics’ for the development of the country.

KATHMANDU, July 24: Senior leader of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), Ram Chandra Poudel has said that he practiced ‘mission politics’ for the development of the country.


In a discussion program organized by the Nepali Congress Vyas Municipal Committee in Damauli today, Poudel claimed that he was in politics with the main agenda of development of the country.

"I have a selfless reason, the development of the country is the main interest," Poudel said, "I will always work for the nation." Asking to avoid selfish people, he said that trying to fight elections with money is not politics.


Poudel emphasized that because the major aim of creating employment and income in the village has not yet been met, people are migrating to the city; however, if an environment of employment can be built in the village, people would stay.


"I have been trying to make everyone walk in the same direction within the party, there is no such thing as permanent enemy and permanent friend in politics," he said.
