Miss Nepal watches PSG v United match at Parc des Princes

KATHMANDU, March 8: Nepal’s 2018 winner of Miss Nepal beauty pageant Shrinkhala  Khatiwada was at Le Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris on Wednesday night to watch the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match between Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester United.

KATHMANDU, March 8: Nepal’s 2018 winner of Miss Nepal beauty pageant Shrinkhala  Khatiwada was at Le Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris on Wednesday night to watch the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match between Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester United.  


United made it to quarter-finals of Europe’s biggest club competition after an emphatic comeback in the match. Khatiwada alongside former boss of United Sir Alex Ferguson, Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, current world cup winning coach Didier Deschamps, former United player Patrick Evra and current superstar Paul Pogba were spotted enjoying the match at the stands.

Khatiwada then posted the pictures on her official Instagram with captions thanking the French Embassy of Nepal for making the stint possible. “France, you've been one of the greatest experiences of my life! Thank you French Embassy in Nepal. I'm forever indebted!"


She further mentioned that it was her dream to watch a football match in an international stadium. “Last night was surreal! I jumped with disbelief when I heard that I was going to France to watch this match!”


French Embassy in Nepal arranged her visit to Paris to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Nepal and France. Red Devils won the match against PSG 3-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 to qualify for the final eight.


Khatiwada represented Nepal in Miss World 2018.
