NAWALPARASI, Aug 13: A child drowned while he was swimming in a local pond in Kawasoti Municipality-7 in Nawalparasi district on Saturday.

NAWALPARASI, Aug 13: A child drowned while he was swimming in a local pond in Kawasoti Municipality-7 in Nawalparasi district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as eight-year-old Manish Mahato, son of Jit Bahadur Mahato of Kawasoti Municipality-7 in the district, according to police.

He was swimming at the local Daruwa rivulet when the incident took place, police said. RSS
