"Some feudal elements are still hatching conspiracy inside dark rooms to topple the Maoist-led government and undo the establishment of republic in the country," Bhattarai said at a function at Ramnagar VDC in Nawalparasi district on Saturday.
But, he said the Maoists were ready to fight such elements.
Conceding that the government failed to deliver on its promises he said this happened because the government is not fully in Maoist hands.
On the chronic power shortage he said the situation would not remain for long. Bhattarai claimed Nepal will generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity within the next 10 years and excess electricity can be exported to other countries.
He said, he was committed to tax private schools and use the money for educating the poor.
