The Central Committee (CC) members of UCPN (Maoist) on Monday severely criticized Basnet for the move."He has admitted his mistake and self-criticized," party spokesperson Dinanath Sharma added, "He has vowed not to repeat such mistake in the future."
The UCPN (Maoist) CC members have expressed their dissatisfaction over Basnet's decision to send his relatives to China.
Earlier, Basnet had said that all the members of the China trip were the earthquake victims.
The CC meeting has been called off till December 19.
