KATHMANDU, June 16: Indian mobile devices-maker Micromax Thursday launched The Unbreakable Canvas 2 2017 smartphone for the Nepali market. Issuing a statement on Thursday, Micromax said The Unbreakable Canvas 2 2017, whose operating system is based on Android Nougat 7.0, has a 5.0-inch HD screen.
The device gets its name from its “resilient and Unbreakable screen”, Micromax says. It has a 16 GB ROM, plus a 3 GB RAM, and a micro SD card slot for expandable memory of up to 64 GB. “The Unbreakable Canvas 2 2017 (Q4310) is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and features 3 GB of DDR3 RAM, so one can be assured that it runs fast and smooth,” Micromax said in its statement.

“The phone has a high-resolution 13 MP primary camera with flash, as well as a front-facing 5 MP camera for selfies. It also has a 5.0-inch HD display with 2.5 D and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.” The phone runs on a 3,050 mAh battery.
“It comes with 2.5D Coring Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and sensors of gravity, proximity, ultra fingerprint recognition and a free transparent back cover,” Micromax added. Micromax is also offering those who buy The Unbreakable Canvas 2 2017 a one-time free replacement of the display screen, if it accidentally breaks, within a warranty period, it says. The phone retails will retail in Nepal at a maximum of Rs 15,300.
