After Ben Affleck, Ryan Renolds and Josh Brolin, another actor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe may just be ready to cross over into DC Comics universe. According to the latest buzz on the internet, actor Michael B Jordan, known for his role in the Marvel blockbuster 'Black Panther', was reportedly in discussions with Warner Bros executives to star in a 'Superman' movie.

According to reports on international portals, earlier this year Jordan pitched a vision for the superhero, currently being played by British actor Henry Cavill.

However, the actor who has also turned producer seems to have his kitty full of projects and isn't ready to commit to taking on the project that is likely to span over several years.

'Star Wars' director JJ Abrams, has reportedly been in discussions with the studios for this new Superman film that will hit screens only after 2023, given that there's still no script or director attached.

The report comes days after Cavill declared in a recent interview that "the cape is still mine" and there is "a lot of justice" left to be done with the character.

A report last year stated that Cavill might just be parting ways with the studios.

Prior to Cavill, actor Brandon Routh played the 'Man of Steel'.
