KATHMANDU, April 11: MetLife Nepal is conducting its Life Insurance Awareness Program to more communities, helping families across the country to build their financial knowledge and resilience.

According to a press statement issued by the company, as part of MetLife's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the program aims to address the financial access gap in underserved and remote areas. The outreach will encompass diverse communities in Damak, Lahan, Janakpur, Katari, Besisahar, Rainas Municipality in Lamjung, Nawalpur, Bara, Badraghat, Palpa, Salyan, Dailekh, Jumla, Kailali, and Illam.


The statement reads, “Participants will learn the importance and benefits of life insurance through interactive sessions and informative materials, fostering financial empowerment in areas where access to financial products is scarce. They will benefit from this program as they gain the knowledge and tools necessary to protect their families and assets, secure their financial future, and navigate unforeseen challenges with confidence. This initiative marks the beginning of a journey toward greater financial inclusion, one community at a time.”
