KATHMANDU, July 17: Mero Surakshya Pvt Ltd has introduced mobile security system, the first of its kind in the country.
This is a kind of mobile insurance service, according to a presss statement issued by the company on Monday.
Under this service, smartphone users can get a new phone on loss or damage of their old mobile phone. Furthermore, the company will recover all the data from the old phone, according to the statement.

The service is available on all types of smartphones of any company. If the mobile is damaged or lost due to any reason, Mero Surakshya will give new mobile within seven days.
In order to receive this service, customers have to pay five percent of total cost of their mobile phone annually. To activate this service, customers need to go to Google play store or Apple app store and download Mero Surakshya app. To operate this app, one can pay bill through 15 different commercial banks or through Door to Door service. Besides, this service can be purchased from mobile shops as well, added the statement.
