DHARAN, Dec 30: Armed Police Force (APF) has grabbed gold in men's football defeating departmental rival Tribhuvan Army Club 2-0 in the final match on Friday. National team forward Anjan Bista scored both goals for APF in the summit clash played at ANFA Technical Center on the closing of the National Games.

Anjan gave lead to APF in the 13th minute scoring the opening goal of the match utilizing a pass from Nabin Lama. Anjan who wasn't in the APF's playing XI in the semifinal match against Nepal Police Club scored his personal second in the 30th minute and made the score-line 2-0. His powerful shot from 25 yards was converted into goal after Army's goalkeeper Bikesh Kuthu couldn't realize the ball coming into his area.

After losing the final against APF, National Games' champion Army was limited to silver while the bronze medal of the event went to Police after it defeated Central Region in the third place play-off.
