KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Mega Bank Nepal Ltd has appointed Anupama Khunjeli as the acting chief executive officer (CEO) of the bank, on Monday.

A meeting of the bank's board of directors appointed Khunjeli to the post of acting CEO, the bank said in a statement issued on Monday. Khunjeli was serving the bank as assistant CEO.
Starting her banking career with the then Grindlays bank (now Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd) in 1991, Khunjeli has 27 years of experience in the banking sector. She has been working with Mega Bank since its establishment.
