GORKHA, Jan 10: The Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) Office, Gorkha, which was entrusted with the responsibility of conserving the Manaslu area in northern Gorkha, has been given an extension after almost three and a half years of confusion.
The period has been extended for the next five years. MCAP Chief Santosh Sherchan said, "There was a problem due to the confusion over whether the office would cease to exist as the decision to extend the deadline was not taken since June 2019.”
