Maoists main hindrance in peace process: Koirala

BARA, Feb 27: The Maoist-led government is the main hindrance in completing the peace and constitution drafting processes within the stipulated time, said Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala on Monday.



Talking to media persons in Simara Airport, he said that the country can hold a referendum if the twin tasks are not to be accomplished within the  time-frame. [break]



A national consensus government cannot be formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Koirala opined.



He also accused the government of stalling the peace process and informed the proposal for the formation of  commissions will be prepared in a few days so as to remaining outstanding issues facing constitution writing.
