KATHAMNDU: CPN (Maoist) unionists associated with Kantipur Publications continued their strike at the regional office of the Publications in Biratnagar for the third consecutive day on Wednesday to press their nine-point demand including better pay and benefits.

The members of the All Nepal Communications and Printing Publication Workers´ Union delayed the printing of Wednesday’s edition of newspapers by two hours.

They also warned that they could shut down the regional office altogether for indefinite period from Thursday if the management failed to meet their demands.
