KATHMANDU, April 12: CPN (Maoist Center) has taken action against four of its lawmakers joining CPN-UML in Province 2.
Speaker of the Province 2 Assembly Saroj Kumar Yadav informed about the decision of the Maoist Center to relieve Ram Chandra Mandal, Jwala Kumari Sah, Kundan Prasad Kushwah, and Mohammad Samir from their post of lawmaker during the Provincial Assembly meeting on Monday.
The Maoist Center had earlier relieved its lawmakers joining UML from their position of a lawmaker in Province 1 and Lumbini Province.
Four Maoist Center lawmakers in the federal parliament also lost their status as a parliamentarian after their mother party took action against them for joining the UML. Those losing their position as lawmakers of the federal parliament include Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Prabhu Sah, Lekhraj Bhatta, and Dawa Lama.
