KATHMANDU, June 23: A meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center)’s federal parliamentary party is to take place today. The meeting was called at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, at 10:30 AM, before the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.
The parliamentary party meeting will discuss the questions raised on the budget and how the party should present itself in the HoR meeting scheduled for today.

Today's meeting of the HoR is scheduled to present the budget for the upcoming fiscal year for approval. Therefore, the Maoist Center is likely to whip its lawmakers to vote in favor of the budget.
