KATHMANDU, May 15: CPN (Maoist Center) is leading in the Panchkhal Municipality, according to the latest vote counting.

As per the latest update, in the mayoral candidacy, Maoist Center candidate Aita Singh Tamang is currently leading with 236 votes where as CPN-UML candidate Rudra Baniya is in second position with 166 votes whereas Nepali Congress candidate Mahesh Kharel is running in third position with 106 votes.


Similarly, for the deputy-mayoral candidacy, Rukmini Rasaili of Maoist Center is leading with 204 votes. Likewise, Bhakta Kumari Lama of CPN-UML is in second position with 203 votes and LAxmi Danuwar is currently in third position with 93 votes.
