KATHMANDU, Feb 15: The CPN (Maoist Center) has called a central committee (CC) meeting for February 20. The meeting has been called to discuss contemporary political issues, the nomination of office-bearers, as well as members at the standing committee, the politburo, and the central committee.
Secretary at the CPN (Maoist) Central Office, Shree Ram Dhakal, said that the meeting has been scheduled for February 20 and 21.

Although the CPN (Maoist Center) held its eighth general convention in December, 2021, it has not nominated the party's other office-bearers except the party chairman.
Discussion on the country's contemporary political topics, local-level election, and other issues are among the agendas of the meeting, it is said.
