KATHMANDU, May 11: The government's policies and programs for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 have been approved by a majority in the House of Representatives (HoR).
On Sunday, the government’s annual policy and program, presented by President Ram Chandra Paudel in the joint session of the federal parliament on April 24, was approved by the HoR.

After Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire presented the decision, it was passed by a majority vote through a voice vote process.
In the voting process, lawmakers from the ruling party voted in favor of the policy and program, while opposition party lawmakers voted against it.
