Major parties select candidates for Bajhang

BAJHANG, Sept 30 : The three major parties have finalized their candidates for Bajhang district to contest in the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections scheduled for November 19.



The UCPN (Maoist) has selected Dev Raj Regmi and Hari Kunwar for constituency number 1 and 2, respectively. Nepali Congress (NC) has selected Arjun Jang Bahdur Singh for constituency number 1, while Naresh Bahdur Singh has been picked for constituency number 2. [break]



Likewise, CPN (UML) has selected Man Prasad Khatri and Lal Bahadur Rawal for constituency number 1 and 2, respectively.

NC candidate Singh was elected twice after 1990. The UML leaders have also claimed that their candidates would get victory in the second CA polls. There are two constituencies in the district.
