KATHAMNDU, June 20: Madhes-centric political parties have boycotted today's meeting of the Legislature-Parliament, citing the government was indifferent to their demands.

At the beginning of the meeting, lawmaker from the Sadbhawana Party, Laxmanlal Karna, blamed the government saying that it has only sent the letter for talks but has remained totally indifferent to their demands.

He further said that they would continue the agitation until their dissatisfactions over the some issues of the new constitution are addressed.

Stating that major political parties should stand together and should be ready to amend the constitution to address their demands bringing agitating parties into confidence, Karna argued then the Madhes-centric parties boycotted the meeting.

He blamed the government as it was not serious though around 60 people lost their life in Madhes agitation.

He added that they will not allow implementing the constitution in status quo. RSS
